At Woodland Park we recognize the special needs of young children and new parents.
The needs of every child and every family are important and unique to us. Woodland Park's ministries are individualized to be age appropriate to help meet every family's needs.
Our ministry goals are:
To help build a foundation from which children can come to know Christ.
To secure an environment in which parents can grow in Christ.
CHILDREN ARE DIVIDED INTO 5 GROUPS BASED ON DEVELPMENTAL NEEDS

"Babies" (0-12months) are our smallest babies for whom we provide care. The nursery
is available during Sunday services, Sunday Bible study, and most church events.
Our nursery workers allow parents to open their hearts and minds to know and grow
in Christ with the peace of mind that their children are well taken care of.

"Ones" are able to crawl, pull up, and are beginning to walk. Like our Sleepers, this nursery is available during Sunday services and most events allowing you to focus on knowing Christ and growing in your Christian walk.
ELECTRONIC PAGERS ARE PROVIDED TO NOTIFY GUARDIANS OF ANY NEED

"Twos" at Woodland Park play in a safe and secure Christian environment.
An age appropriate message is provided through books, video, and play.

Our Pre-kindergarten class, "3's and 4's, is where children use singing, crafts,
and a story time to begin to understand God's love and grace. After a Bible lesson,
they join our 5 year olds for an age appropriate message while adults attend our contemporary service.

"5 Year Olds", like our 3's and 4's, use music, crafts, and stories during Bible Study to begin to understand God's story of salvation. During our contemporary adult worship service, these children join the 3's and 4's for an age appropriate message.
