AWANA meetings are brimming with life-enriching experiences for young people age 2 through 6th grade. Clubbers will learn that God is real, that He loves them, and He has expressed that love through Jesus Christ. They will also learn how to apply Bible truths to their daily lives. Club meetings will begin in September and go through May.
An AWANA club meeting is divided into 3 segments: handbook time, council time, and game time. Handbook time uses achievement-based curriculum that emphasizes memorization and understanding key Bible verses and truths. Clubbers will develop a Bible-based view of how to know and serve God. Council time includes singing and a Bible story or lesson to illustrate a key Bible truth. Game time is fun, exciting, and fast paced. Clubbers will learn teamwork and sportsmanship, all while having a great time.
The AWANA program is based on a unique award/point system,
which heightens enthusiasm and provides a motivational edge for young people.
